Finalist- Aperture Club - Sense of Place Competition
The rain was pouring. A teddy bear was sitting on his own in the old taxi, and people were rushing for cover. I placed myself hoping to catch people rushing in the rain. I caught some, and then this couple came strolling as if it was a fine day, as if no rain was pouring. They existed in their own world, a world between the modern and the traditional.
Until today this is one of my favourite street photos. So I was delighted when it became a finalist in this competition.
